The fishing port of the city of Moule counts actually some fifty fisher boats.

A fish market and a cold storage plant have been built for the fishermen.

The new library, inaugurated in October 1996, offers 3 departments on 1,500m²: Adults: litterature, novels, documents, papers, special publications: law, economics, welfare Youth: department "studies", novels, albums; room for oral litterature: tales, workshops; room for "baby readers" Audio-video: CDs audio from local and international artists, video library (cassettes and CD-Rom) to consult on site The staff of 15 members assisting the manager Mme M.-C. Pernelle deals with 20,000 books, 100 magazines, 1,000 audio cassettes, 50 CD-Rom, 8 computer terminals and welcomes visitors 32 hours a week, 8 of which being reserved for schools.

The thermal power plant is built close to the sugar refinery Gardel and is equipped for two types of combustion:

• bagasse supplied by the sugar refinery during the harvest season
• imported coal (from Colombia or Venezuela) the rest of the year

The tip of Le Moule, situated in Caillebot, is a made-up, guarded and closed site where private persons can deposit their waste in specific containers for their elimination or retreatment.

The equipment consists of:

• premises for batteries, non-ferrous metal and drugs
• 4 Ampliroll containers of 30 m³ (2 for big items- old furniture- 1 for scrap iron, 1 for plants and cardboard) and 1 container of 12 m³ for rubbish
• racks for tires and wood
• 2 containers for glass and 1 for used oil
